Primroses in February! Posted by Hello Surfing blogs, I've noticed that snow pictures are more or less mandatory. No snow in Houston, I have have Primroses and Daffodils. We have a lot-line house with a small pocket garden and a couple of beds. I've made it as English in appearance as I can, which gets tricky when the temperature soars to the high 90s in July. This is the first time I've had daffodils and I love them - they look so cheery and perky. February is a wonderful month in Houston - I wish I could bottle it and spray a little on my wrists in August.

Thanks for your comment. Happy to "meet" you. Wasn't it a beautiful day? Could almost fall in love with Houston!

Oh, your garden is beautiful! And you're right, it IS "English" - why am I so NOT surprised at that? Beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen real primroses before.

Lovely garden - I'm just passing by and wanted to say hello. I have a dear friend in Houston, but I'm out in S. California. I have no garden but a nice sized patio with 8 full sized old rose bushes and many potted plants. It keeps me happy.

I notice you said Ebay in your title....buyer?...seller?...both? I'm an Ebay seller and have been for the past six years. Nice to meet you and hope to hear from you.

Thanks for replying to my post. I'm a brand new blogger and don't really know if I'm doing this right. I'm still trying to figure out my own blog.

I love gardening. Don't have much room because I'm in a condo, but it has a nice patio with some soil (mostly taken up by the 8 rosebushes I inherited when I bought this place.

Ebay was a Godsend to me. A nice little supplement to my retirement. My ID is ms*patricia. I put a link to my seller's page right on my blog. Nice meeting you :-)

Thank you for checking out my artwork. Its been a comfort to me since I retired. I'm pretty much a loner and painting is a joy. Its warming up here (finally) after all the rain we've had. I shouldn't complain because the rest of the country is cold and some parts have snow.

I planted my patio tomato for this year. I may plant another one. Its very strange but the one I potted up last year is still alive and I just picked what I think is its last tomato. It bloomed and had fruit for almost an entire year.

I shall have to go look at your books. I love to read but never seem to get enough time. The only way to read is outdoors in the sunshine and fresh air - and we haven't had much of that lately....soon though. :-)
