We're on a road trip..while .driving through Hattiesburg, Mississippi we pass a
Blue Bell Ice Cream truck. The featured flavor, proudly displayed on the back panel? "The Great Divide". Half Chocolate, Half Vanilla, divided down the middle so that never the twain shall meet. Not, rippled, not swirled, but divided.

MMMM
have fun!
That's what my husband and I would refer to as "funny uh-oh" as opposed to "funny ha-ha."
Enjoy your road trip, segregationist ice cream aside... :)
Ouch, that's painful....interesting that such overt racism can exist...and I live in a pretty racist country, just differently so I guess. I hope your trip goes well.
You know, it's not an interesting new flavor, but it's name makes it sound like it is. Leave it to marketing genius!
Throw some pecans into the chocolate and you'll have to peel me off your welcome mat.
As for the irony, the ice cream place here has a flavor called "Maui Mammy." Chocolate coconut.
I kid you not.
Note to Mississippi: the War of Northern Aggression (as my mom was taught to call it in North Carolina grade school) has ended. You lost. Get over it.
